On Friday, January 23 is and was my birthday since 2001. I am now fourteen which puts me as the same age as my friends. On my birthday I had lots a fun and many surprises. At 4:30 in the morning I woke up because my heart was beating at a weird and it was hurting for some reason. Luckily, I was able to sleep through it for about an hour to get ready for school. When I first got up my heart was really hurting and I was straining to move. I kept going along to go eat and the entire time it was hurting. Soon my mom started to notice and she started getting worried like any parent would. She then got a stethoscope and measured my heart rate. It was at a good rate but for me it was just hurting. We then started calling my aunt and uncle because one of them is a pediatrician and the other i a traumatologist. They answered and said that I have chondritis, which is inflammation in the cartilage. I then looked it up on Google and it said that it was caused by physical activity which I remembered that last night I had soccer practice and apparently I inhaled too much which caused my chondritis. My aunt and uncle said that if it was hurting too much that I should go the hospital, but I wasn't really sure because on a scale of one through ten, it was in the middle. Which got me contemplating about whether to go to the hospital or not, but there was a part of me to go and another part of me to not go to the hospital. I soon made my mind about going to the hospital and right as we were about to go, my cousin texted us and said that I should take Alleve, which is a pill that cures headaches. Surprisingly it helped which made me change my mind and be to tough and go to school for today I turned into a positive fourteen-year-old teenager. I got ready and was on my way to school. Unfortunately, I got there late and had to go get a tardy slip, but luckily, some of my friends was tardy too. I told the reason I was tardy and I went with my friends to the classroom and they all celebrated me since it was my birthday. From there my chondritis started going away and it kept going uphill since then.
